Since 2020 I've been in charge of building and maintaining the Global Journey shop. The initial goal was to make it completely modular (it can now be used for any event) and to make it way more performant (up to 10 times!) than the previous version. To this day I still work closely together with the back-end team to make a strong and future-proof system which I support with new features and guidance during sales.

Core Graphics asked me to build a ticket scanning app for the Kasteel van Groot-Bijgaarden to accompany their brand new online ticketing system. The app has a smart online/offline strategy to avoid waiting lines at the door (or should I say gate?). The app was built with React Native and is available on both iOS and Android.

ProSoccerData offers their customers (like AFC Ajax, FC Metz, RSC Anderlecht, ...) a platform to increase the quality of player development & talent detection. I was in charge of building the native Android application packed with loads of features like calendar, chat, feedback, video streaming, ... to enable players to use the platform with ease. After several years the app was sunset in 2023 for a hybrid solution.

Tomorrowland asked me to develop an online web player for their brand new One World Radio. I worked closely together with their back-end team to build an online player where people can not only listen to the live radio chanel, but also listen to selected dj sets. Later the player was integrated into the new Tomorrowland website.

FlatTurtle is a digital signage solution that allows you to create and manage your own digital signage screens. I was in charge of building a brand new modular screen - running on tv's and tablets. The screen is fully customizable, from a 6 x 6 grid with news, upcoming trains, wifi password, ... to a full screen item with a video running.

Besides working on the Android app, I lead the development and design of the Proceedix app for Google Glass. To avoid the limitations of the Google Glass system and to work with the limited interaction methods, I had to design and develop a custom interaction layer to enable all of Proceedix' advanced features, driven by both voice and touch. Today I still advice the Proceedix team as UI expert in extending the app with new features.

Working closely with the BPost back-end and cloud server team, I developed an Android Things application running on Raspberry Pi's. The goal of the app is to help workers with sorting packages at the chutes. The app has a scanner and projector variant, which is running depending on the configuration. By scanning a package on the scanner app, the projector app will show where to put the package together with extra information. The scanning app also warns for various things, like chutes that are becoming full.
